Chapter 3: Choose one word or phrase from this chapter that helps create a mysterious mood. What does it mean, and why is it a good choice for this scene?

One phrase that helps create a mysterious mood is when the story describes things as dark, quiet, or hard to see. This makes me picture a place where something surprising could happen at any moment. I think it is a good choice because the characters are trying to figure out a mystery, and the setting makes their search feel more tense. It also makes me want to keep reading to find out what is hidden.

Chapter 6: What do you predict will happen next based on the clues the characters have found so far? Explain what makes you think that.

I predict the characters will find another clue inside the mansion that helps them understand what really happened. I think this because the clues so far seem connected, but they do not give the whole answer yet. The characters are paying close attention, so I believe they will notice something that other people missed. My prediction is that the next clue will point them toward a new suspect or secret place.

Chapter 11: How is the mystery solved, and what do the main characters learn from the experience?

The mystery is solved when the characters put the clues together and realize what they mean. I liked that they did not give up, even when the mansion seemed confusing and scary. I think they learn that courage and teamwork are important when solving a problem. They also learn that paying attention to small details can make a big difference.
