Warriors Graphic Novel questions by chapter
We know the book, its characters, setting and story, but not what happens in each chapter. So every question is written for this book, and any of them works wherever your reader has just stopped. One question per chapter, across all 12 chapters, and every one is editable before you print. The example answers under 3 of the chapters are the ones printed at the front of the booklet.
-
Chapter 1
So far, what have you learned about Fireheart and the world of the Warrior cats? Use details from the pictures and words to explain what Clan life seems like.
-
Chapter 2
How does Fireheart act when he faces a problem or a new challenge in this chapter? What does that show about his personality?
Example answer: Fireheart acts brave, but he does not seem careless. He pays attention to what is happening around him and tries to do what is right for his Clan. This shows me that he is still learning, but he has a strong heart. I think he wants to prove that he belongs.
-
Chapter 3
Choose one important scene from this chapter. What happened, and why do you think it matters to Fireheart or ThunderClan?
-
Chapter 4
What do the pictures in this graphic novel help you understand that the words alone might not show as clearly? Give a specific example from this chapter.
-
Chapter 5
Pick a word, phrase, or warrior-cat term from this chapter, such as something about Clans, ranks, or the forest. What do you think it means, and what clues helped you figure it out?
Example answer: One term I noticed was a word connected to Clan life. I could tell it was important because the cats used it seriously, not like a joke. The pictures and the way the other cats reacted helped me understand that it had to do with rules and respect. It made the Warrior cat world feel different from the human world.
-
Chapter 6
So far, how are Fireheart’s friendships or loyalties being tested? Explain using one character he interacts with, such as a Clanmate, leader, or rival.
-
Chapter 7
What is one choice Fireheart makes in this chapter? Do you agree with it? Why or why not?
-
Chapter 8
What danger, mystery, or conflict seems most important right now? What do you predict might happen next, based only on clues you have read so far?
-
Chapter 9
How does the setting, such as the forest, camp, or Clan territory, affect what the cats do in this chapter?
Example answer: The setting affects the cats because they have to think about where they are allowed to go and where danger might be. In the forest, the cats cannot just wander anywhere like pets. The trees, paths, and territory borders make the story feel exciting. I think the setting is almost like another character because it changes the cats’ choices.
-
Chapter 10
What lesson about courage, loyalty, trust, or belonging can you connect to this chapter? Explain how the chapter shows that idea.
-
Chapter 11
Which character do you understand better after this chapter? What new detail about their feelings, goals, or worries did you notice?
-
Chapter 12
Looking back at this chapter, what question would you ask Fireheart if you could talk to him? Why would that question help you understand the story better?

How to use this Warriors Graphic Novel reading journal
At home, as a discussion guide
After each chapter your reader writes a few lines on that chapter’s question. Read the answer together at bedtime: it shows what they understood and gives you something real to talk about, without a quiz.
In class, as a novel study
Print a class set (booklets fold from plain letter paper) and use one question per chapter as the reading-response or literature-circle prompt. The example answers at the front show what a full answer looks like.
Homeschool
One booklet covers the whole book, 12 chapters, so it doubles as the reading log for Warriors Graphic Novel. Reword any question before printing to match your reader.
Printing
The booklet PDF prints on ordinary 8.5 × 11 paper: print double-sided (flip on the short edge) at 100%, fold the stack in half and staple on the fold. There is also a one-page-per-sheet PDF and A5 binder pages.
