Chapter 3: Why does Stuart take washing up so seriously, and what does his routine tell you about his personality?

I think Stuart takes washing up seriously because he wants to be neat and responsible, just like the rest of his family. Even though he is tiny, he does not want people to treat him like he is helpless. His routine shows that he is careful, proud, and independent. It also makes him seem more like a real person than just a little mouse.

Chapter 8: How does Margalo's arrival change life for Stuart and the Little family?

Margalo's arrival brings excitement and kindness into the house. Stuart seems especially interested in her because she is small and gentle, and he feels connected to her. The family also has to think about caring for a bird, not just Stuart. I think Margalo helps Stuart feel less alone in a world that is usually too big for him.

Chapter 15: At the end of the book, Stuart heads north. What theme or message do you think the ending leaves with the reader?

I think the ending shows that being brave sometimes means continuing even when you do not know exactly what will happen. Stuart has not found Margalo yet, but he still chooses to keep going. To me, the message is that hope and determination matter. Stuart is small, but his goal is big, and he does not give up.
