    Example answer: I think Harry starts to see Kreacher as someone who has been hurt and lonely, not just as a mean house-elf. Regulus also seems braver than Harry expected because he tried to fight Voldemort in his own way. This changes the Black family for me because it shows that not everyone in the family was the same. Some of them made bad choices, but Regulus tried to do what was right at the end.

    In chapter 11, what makes Lupin want to leave his family and join Harry, and why does Harry react so strongly to him?

    Example answer: I think the tale teaches that wanting too much power can be dangerous. The first brother wants the strongest wand, but it does not keep him safe. The second brother cannot accept death, and that makes him unhappy. The third brother is the wisest because he is humble and patient.

22. Chapter 22

    In chapter 22, Harry becomes interested in the Deathly Hallows. How does this new idea change what Harry, Ron, and Hermione think they should do next?

    Example answer: Harry's opinion of Snape changes because he learns that Snape was helping Dumbledore and protecting Harry for years. I think Harry realizes that Snape was much more complicated than just a cruel teacher. What surprised me most was that Snape loved Lily Potter and made many hard choices because of that love. I still think Snape made mistakes, but now I understand him better.
